Foncie’s Electric Photos.
I always find myself trying to capture clouds, so this was of particular interest. Photographer Rüdiger Nehmzow captured these images from a plane, 4 miles up (~6.5kms, or 21,000ft), with the door open so there was no glass to distort or blur the images. Beautiful.
In 1993, a convicted murderer was executed. His body was given to science, segmented, and photographed for medical research. In 2011, Croix Gagnon & Frank Schott used photography to put it back together.

These could be a little morbid, but that’s overridden by how fantastic they are, both in the image and the process. Be sure to check out the process of how they were executed. Found through Matthew Anderson.
This must have been fun to experiment with and see the first few resulting images. Great idea.
And the rest from the same set. It’s definitely nice having mountains here on the west coast, but I’ll always have a special place in my heart for the Rockies.
Finally got a chance to edit a few photos. Took these ones with the intent of them being black & white—seems to be a theme with me, but there’s just something so right about black & white photos.
