not so green initiative

most designers will know that the application of a new logo or the branding is what drives up the cost of logo/identity design. it’s hard to know everything the new green logo was applied to, but I’m sure it took the designers more than “a few hours of their time” to come up with the final version. and to start condescending the visual standards guide, also means the reporter doesn’t know the full scale of design services and why it’s required. it is pretty sad however to find spelling/grammar errors. would be nice to see the breakdown of everything the city received for $240,000.
